Queen of the World by Popular Demand

OK, so the title's a bit...delusional. But I started signing some letters to teachers in college with that, and I think it's fun, and obviously not serious. However, I DO think that everything would be fine, if people just realised that I'm always right. ;)

Pen Show!!

I spent this weekend at the Washington DC Pen Show. Literally. The first day, I went with my Dad, and today, I went with my best friend Paul.

I bought several vintage Esterbrook pens, one of the new Sailor 1911M Demonstrators with a Music nib, 2 pens with barrels that had been handpainted by a Fedoskino lacquer artist, an abalone inlay fountain pen and rollerball set, and a vintage Waterman that has been modified for an extra flexible nib. All that, and a new Libelle pen case to put them in. :)

No pics as of yet, so that means that I'll have another post later with the toys. I'll put a pic of Paul holding Brutus (from the archives of Brutus pictures!)
